An independent homeowner resource
Indy Sewer Guide exists because sewer decisions are expensive, urgent, and hard to evaluate — and most of the information available is written by whoever wants the job.
What we do
We explain sewer problems and repair approaches in ordinary language, set out what evidence should support a recommendation, and help homeowners identify a reasonable next step. We also review submitted project requests and, when appropriate, help homeowners connect with independent local professionals.
What we are not
We are not a plumbing or excavation contractor. We do not perform field work, operate equipment, inspect or diagnose lines, or carry out repairs. We don’t have a crew, a yard, or trucks, and we don’t publish reviews, project photography, or claims of work performed. Anything of that kind on this site would be fabricated, so it isn’t here.
How we handle information
We don’t publish price ranges we can’t stand behind, and we don’t diagnose a line remotely. Where local rules matter, we say what should be verified and with whom rather than paraphrasing policy we haven’t cited.
How this is funded
Indy Sewer Guide provides independent educational guidance and may receive marketing or referral compensation from independent professionals when a connection results in business. That does not make the professional our employee or agent, and homeowners should independently evaluate any provider and written scope.
