Privacy notice

A plain description of the information this site receives and how it is used.

Information you submit

When you send the project-help form, Indy Sewer Guide receives the details you enter: the type of sewer problem, your description and timing, the property ZIP code, your name and email address, and any optional phone number or notes you provide. Nothing is transmitted until you select “Send Project Request.”

How we use it

We use submitted information to review your request, contact you about it, understand whether we can help, prevent abuse, and maintain the form and its delivery system. We do not use the form to diagnose a sewer line remotely.

When information may be shared

When appropriate, we may share the information needed to follow up with an independent local professional who may be able to assist. We also use service providers, including hosting and transactional email providers, to operate the site and deliver requests. We do not sell submitted personal information as a general data product.

Retention and security

We retain submitted information only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards and keep delivery credentials out of browser code.

Site data and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and whether the project-help experience is working. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and process technical and usage data such as pages visited, browser and device information, approximate geography, and interaction events. When a project-help request is completed, analytics records the completed request and the selected problem category.

We do not send your name, email address, phone number, property ZIP code, free-text details, notes, or consent response to Google Analytics. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers. Google processes analytics data under its own privacy policy. Hosting and security providers may also process routine technical logs such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps to deliver and protect the site.

Questions or requests
